Zaranell For fans of the slow, sinister ambience of the PSX/Doom 64 soundtracks, this release is a must-listen. Weekley puts his own distinct mark on this style, structuring the songs around repeating phrases that instill a consistent presence. Tracks like Heart of Darkness and The Beckoning sound like the breath and heartbeat of a singular, malignant entity - always watching, always waiting. Favorite track: Heart of Darkness.
Immorpher

Immorpher When ID software made Quake 1, they wanted to make an even darker and foreboding game than Doom. This album is as if they kept on going musically in that direction. I can here elements of what Trent Reznor did on Quake, as well as Aubrey Hodge's contributions to Quake 64. In this album they are combined to create an even darker atmosphere. Favorite track: Darkness Beyond.
